Is Transgenderism a Mental Illness?

And should we be wary of allowing our Children to pursue it?

Disclaimer: As a liberal person I respect every adult's right to pursue any kind of lifestyle or freedom they wish so long as it doesn't impinge upon the liberty and freedom of others, I reserve the same liberty to express my opinions.

The acceptance of Transgenderism as an identity and choice has been accompanied by the establishment of social justice within academia and government. This means all its concomitant narratives and desires are expressed in the institutions of society.

So it is not surprising when we see schools implementing gender-neutral policy (fairly benign), allowing children to change their gender at will (gender fluidity) meaning they can wear any uniform and change names at will, a school told they must address pupils as "zie" and "zir" and another school asking pupils to choose between 23 different genders.

Without turning this article into an exploration of parody and satire, there is also the case of drag queens being paid to go into schools and teach gender fluidity including singing a song with the line,  “The skirt on the drag queen goes swish, swish, swish.”

This demonstrates how the Social Justice Ideology is simply a runaway train without boundaries or limits. Age is irrelevant as children as young as 3 are encouraged to explore identity before they are even able to understand the concepts, they are being programmed. The science of biology on gender is done by white men, it is sexist and bigoted, objective reality is irrelevant because of who established the facts.

Who is the Victim?

In fact, gender fluidity itself creates victims. Professor Paul McHugh is the former chief psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins hospital in the US. In the 1960s this pioneered sex-reassignment surgery — but subsequently abandoned it because of the problems it left in its wake. Most young boys and girls who seek sex reassignment, McHugh has written, have psychosocial issues and presume that such treatment will resolve them. ‘The grim fact is that most of these youngsters do not find therapists willing to assess and guide them in ways that permit them to work out their conflicts and correct their assumptions. Rather, they and their families find only “gender counsellors” who encourage them in their sexual misassumptions.’

It is always the children. Social Justice Activists would tell us that they are helping and liberating children. The truth is without scientific or evidential basis they are programming children into a self-destructive path which will give them lifelong physical and mental scars.

What does the evidence say?

The evidence is incontrovertible, Trans people have always been a statistically tiny minority of the population. Since the imposition of Social Justice ideology inquiries to Gender Identity Clinics in the UK have exploded hundreds of percent, from hundreds to thousands.

But Trans-Children do not stay trans as they grow up. Instead they are regular gay or lesbian people. The numbers in all the studies range between 60-90 percent. There are 12 studies in all on the topic and they all arrived at the same conclusion  SOURCE

As the evidence shows above, the rate of suicide in those who are pre-transition and post-transition is extremely high. Nearly one in two trans people compared to less than one in twenty in the normal population attempt suicide.

This is a topic about not forcing an ideology on children. Adults are free to do what they wish to do and I will support them. Personally, I am a fan of Blair White who is a successful trans YouTube Activist (featured in the top image), but that does not mean I do not concur with the DSM that gender dysphoria is a mental illness, there are only two biological sexes which inform gender and we appear to be on a very dangerous path.
